High Chaparral creates more value in every international payment
Through its partnership with Nets, High Chaparral enables international guests to pay in their own currency. With Smart Converter – Nets’ Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) solution – the park creates a more transparent and reassuring purchasing experience while increasing flexibility for guests. From the Wild West of Småland to an international destination
High Chaparral was founded with the vision of creating a living Wild West experience in Småland, Sweden. Since its inception, the park has grown to become one of Sweden’s most well-known theme parks, offering a wide range of shows, activities, restaurants, shops and accommodation.
Today, the park welcomes both Swedish and international guests, with many visitors coming from Denmark, Germany and Norway. When guests travel far for an experience, it is important that everything works smoothly – not least the payment experience.

For High Chaparral, the overall guest experience is essential – from the entrance to the restaurants and shops inside the park. To enable this, High Chaparral has implemented Smart Converter – Nets’ solution for Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC), allowing international guests to choose to pay in their own currency.
A solution that works throughout the park
Smart Converter is now implemented on all card terminals across the park – from entrances to restaurants and shops. This means international guests can choose to pay in their own currency regardless of where in the park the purchase takes place.
In parts of the park, Nets’ Android-based payment terminals, SmartPOS, are also used. These terminals make it possible to accept payments directly where guests are located, creating a smoother payment experience across several of the park’s points of sale.
The response to Smart Converter has been clearly positive.
