How Nyehandel rebuilt their Nets Easy integration through a smooth and easy partnership
From purchasing to delivery and payments to product returns, 200+ Swedish merchants manage their E-commerce business from the Nyehandel platform. To give those merchants the best possible integration to Nets Easy, Nyehandel rebuilt it from scratch with the help of Nets/Nexi developers.
Challenge: Large customer needed a better integration to Nets Easy
Ecommerce platform Nyehandel supports more than 220 companies across Sweden in selling their products online. They offer several payment solutions, including an integration to Nets Easy. It’s up to the merchant to decide which ones they activate on their own website.
“We have many payment integrations to our platform. We don't only have Nets .. but we think that Nets is a very important partner to have because of the name and functionality,” explains Jennie Edvardsson, Marketing Manager at Nyehandel.
In spring 2025 one of Nyehandel’s biggest customers was preparing for a major holiday campaign. To help maximize sales during that campaign, they wanted to start offering Nets as a payment option from that point on. However, the existing integration wasn’t working seamlessly enough.
Solution: Rebuild the integration with support from Nets
To give this customer exactly what they needed, Nyehandel decided to upgrade their integration to Nets Easy. Better yet, they chose to rebuild it from scratch.
Nyehandel’s development team built the integration in-house, but they didn’t have to do it alone. They partnered with Nets along the way, getting help from detailed API documentation and one-on-one support.
“We had ongoing conversations with Nets, and a very good contact who helped us if and when we needed it,” explains Jennie Edvardsson.

Result: Small changes mean significant improvements for merchants
Thanks to this one customer’s decision to include Nets at their checkout, hundreds of Nyehandel merchants now have access to an improved integration to Nets Easy.
“The better the integration is, the more attractive it becomes for our merchants. That one of our biggest customers is using the Nets integration helps a lot and builds trust with others,” explains Jennie Edvardsson.
Popular payment methods
When Nyehandel’s merchants choose to activate the Nets Easy integration, they open up convenient payment methods that are in high demand across Sweden.
“Something our users really like about Nets is the smooth checkout, including Apple Pay and Google Pay,” explains Jennie Edvardsson.
Plus with a direct integration between Nets and Klarna – and only one agreement needed to make it all happen – all the major payment methods are available to end users.
Frictionless checkout and returns
With the upgraded integration, the entire buying process saw small but significant improvements.
For instance, if customers have shopped before on a site that uses Nets, they’re greeted with pre-filled forms at the checkout. This helps merchants ensure another optimized step in the buying journey.
When customers return products, the process has improved significantly for merchants. Before, returns had to be processed in both Nyehandel’s own platform and the Nets Easy portal. Now, merchants can handle them solely within Nyehandel, making it much simpler.
“We believe the partnership between Nyehandel and Nets will grow, with more shared customers and trust between us. We also hope we can do events together in the future to show what a great partnership we have.”
